A few days passed.
Despite her dramatic announcement, she couldn't actually just immediately rush out and bait her assassins. It took careful planning. She didn't actually want to die, after all.
And she needed to give the informants time to tell their bosses, and their ring-leaders time to be tempted into doing something foolish even knowing they were walking into a trap.
It'd be a better trap if she hadn't announced it, but without knowing who was snitching on her, the best thing she could think of in the moment was a trap that worked even when the target knew it was a trap.
Which was, well, not perfect, but it should at least net her a few high value targets.
She decided on going for a trip to Isca. If her enemies refused to strike then at least she'd get to visit Isca that way!
