Thus, for the past century, all rookie adventurers were ordered to report to the branch guilds in different cities first, then, once they were ready for Valenzia, they were given recommendation letters which were equivalent to promotions.

As for the guild masters surrounding Blas, they were the guild masters of the main branches of their guilds.
