Bab 38: Another Woman

When they arrived at their intended location, David did find a staircase, looking unkempt.

The lights around the staircase were flickering, probably almost dead.

Not to mention that at this time of night, even during the day, there probably wouldn't be any students using this staircase to go upstairs.

It must be admitted that there is a very strong gloomy impression.

"Look, water," Mery said suddenly while her shadowy hand pointed at the stairs.

When David made an observation, he indeed found that there was a little water on each step of the stairs. It was mixed with a bit of soil.

There were no leaks here at all, so the only possibility was that all the water came from humans.

Mery didn't stop for long, she moved again to climb the stairs.

When they reached the second floor, they went up to the third floor, then to the fourth floor.

The traces of water on the stairs were still there and even more obvious.
