Chapter 54

Atasha abruptly opened her eyes upon hearing the familiar voice of the person she wished to see for a long time. 

There she saw him looking down on her face just inches away.

"N-Nemus...?" she uttered in total shock and disbelief. Atasha instinctively raised her hand to feel him in her palms, wondering if he was only an illusion created by her yearning.

But before she could reach his face, she stopped her hand, afraid that his silhouette would burn and fade away.

'How can you smile like that after making me... us worried sick?' The girl thought and fought the urge to brush his moist arched red lips.

His black, long curtain hair draped on their side profiles like a demanded barrier deliberately cast to shut people out. 

Right now, it's just them, staring at each other's faces, memorizing each shade and image with their longing eyes.
