The next day, early in the morning, Lin Dong found that his lover was no longer on the bed.
Only a faint scent of a woman lingered, a testament to Qingye Piaoxue's real presence the day before.
Though she had left, she still left behind a note, as well as a sword.
On the note it read:
"This sword once belonged to the Ghost Spirit, the former king of assassins from Yinghua Country, and it bears his Qi."
"If you encounter this Qi, you ought to be cautious."
Lin Dong, seeing the Dragon Country characters scrawled haphazardly on the note, couldn't help but laugh out loud. He hadn't expected Qingye Piaoxue's handwriting to be so ugly.
It was a shame she wasn't there, otherwise Lin Dong would have certainly teased that proud lady once more.
Even though Qingye Piaoxue was tough-talking and haughty, she was genuinely sincere toward Lin Dong.
