"What's wrong, boy?" Lua noticed Secim's unusual behaviour. He almost seemed afraid, moving with caution rather than the usual carelessness. The Jolin didn't respond, and simply neighed. Lua wasn't sure what he expected.
Right, beasts don't talk. How surprising. He sighed, facepalming. However, if he wanted to speed up their pace, he would undoubtedly need to resolve this problem. He got off from the young Jolin and decided that they would be settling in this area for today. The surrounding space was heavily wooded with pine trees and seemingly lacked beasts. They hadn't even encountered a single rabbit, or frion, so far.
They were thankful that they had rations given to them by the barbarian tribe. At this range, they couldn't return to grab supplies again should they run out. This was why it was very concerning to Lua that they hadn't been able to see any of the local fauna yet.
