Bab 55: Disillusionment

Nazmi smiled back at Shea, but the sentiment never reached her sage-gray eyes. She closed the rest of the distance between herself and the sorceress, reaching out her shaking hands. Nazmi was glad that she had been made sick by the teleportation, otherwise acting weak and abused would have been considerably more difficult.

"What has he done to you?!" Shea gasped, grabbing Nazmi's trembling wrists tightly.

Nazmi didn't immediately understand what she was talking about until she glanced down at her pale arms.

...the bruises. How was she supposed to justify it? Maybe she should just accuse him of taking advantage of her?

Just when she was about to begin her explanation, Samir beat her to it.

"I've had my way with her, of course," the Prince said with a wry smile. He looked down his nose at the blonde sorceress. "Repeatedly."
