Bab 64: DISTORTED MEMORIES

"H-Hair dye?" Laleen voiced in alarm but Elizabeth only waved her hand.

"Are you alright? Tell me about yesterday" She diverted the conversation back to her friend.

Laleen shook her head. "You first! Tell me what happened at the date yesterday and why would you need hair dye?"

Elizabeth was stunned by Laleen's reaction to her words but it made her smile.

"Okay," she finally conceded. From there Elizabeth began to tell her about what happened at her blind date yesterday and the coincidence of today.

She also told her about how she'd applied for a job in the company owned by her friend's new family weeks before Laleen ever got married.

Laleen was shocked and it was evident from her parted lips.

Elizabeth sighed when she was done. Reaching for her purse, she opened it and as expected, the business card Noah had given her the day before was sitting prettily where she hadn't even looked at it for a second.
