"Where is the queen?" Tobias questioned, moving past the greetings.

"She is in here," Renee spoke, going to the door to lead Tobias. "She is sleeping now but you can stay in there with her. Don't worry about proper greetings. You can go to her first."

"Thank you," Tobias replied, following Renee without offering Kenneth a goodbye.

Helena, who was sitting by the door with her mother before Tobias's arrival, went to Kenneth. "Should I get you something to drink? That is all that father is doing now."

"No. I should stay in my right mind. I will look after your father for you," Kenneth said as Helena shouldn't see her father in that state. "Where is he?"

"In his study," Helena answered. "Do you think they will be fine? Hazel and the king."

Helena watched as Tobias rushed toward where Hazel was resting. Her mother closed the door after he entered.

"We will know when we see them again."
