"Kenneth, you're putting the worst possible thoughts about my wife in my head so say something to calm my thoughts at least. Wouldn't you be desperate to know why you are standing before me if you were in my position? Speak," Tobias ordered Kenneth.

"Tobias, go with him and hear about it when you are in the carriage," Edgar said, helping Kenneth. He trusted that Kenneth had a good reason. 

Kenneth was in the small circle of men Edgar trusted in the palace. He would also not speak of too much in the palace because the walls did have ears. There were a few secret passages that even Tobias or his father would not have found as yet. 

Tobias pinch his nose. These two didn't understand it because it wasn't their woman involved, but standing around here asking Kenneth to speak wasn't working in his favour as he was still quite in the dark about what might have happened with Hazel.
