Bab 19: Robot
"Kurosaki Ichigo, do you want my help with the matter of heavenly pacts?"
"....."
"Can you answer me?"
"Sorry, it is not every day that you see a robot."
"This body is not a robot but a puppet. My real body is somewhere else."
"And why are you speaking to me with a puppet and not your real body?"
"You soon will understand why."
"Hmmm? What do you mean? And how do you know I am investigating heavenly pacts?"

"Oh, really now?"
Ichigo started making a cero at the tip of his index finger.
"WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!! I can explain. I have been looking into heavenly pacts, and when you made a name for yourself, I started investigating you."
"And why are you investigating heavenly pacts?"
"I have one myself, and I want to get rid of it, so I was thinking we can help each other out."
'Why do you want to get rid of your heavenly pact?"
".....you will find out, but right now, I only asked you to trust me and follow me."
"Why should I? You appeared out of nowhere, and I don't know you."

Ichigo looked at the robot, and even though his voice was mechanic, Ichigo could feel it, the despair in his voice.
"Sigh, fine, Satoru, you wanna come?"
"Sure, it sounds fun."
"I am coming too."
"I thought you were busy."
"Yeah, but this is more interesting."
"Whatever, lead the way. Hmm, sorry, what is your name?"
"Kokichi Muta, but you can call me mechamaru."
After the introduction, muta started to Mechamaru lead the way to his location. While traveling, Ichigo gave Shoko a piggy ride since she couldn't keep up with the three of them.
They quickly left the city and reached the woods, getting deeper into the forest until they reached a seemingly abandoned building.
"This is where you live?"
Seeing the place, Ichigo had difficulty believing someone would live there.
"Yeah, my real body is inside, follow me."
They went inside the building, and the inside was better but it felt empty. There weren't any decorations or furniture.
'I am not a guy who is particularly fond of decoration, but this place feels... sad.'
While looking around, Ichigo could not help but think of such things.
"This place feels sad, don't you think so? Ichigo."
Shoko expressed her thoughts and they were rather similar to his own.
"Yeah, by the way, Shoko, you can get off my back now."
"It's okay, thank you."
"....."
"We are here."
While they were speaking, Mechamaru stopped walking and stood in front of a door.
"Before you go in, let me warn you, because of my heavenly pact, my body is not exactly pleasant to look at."
"Don't worry, we look at Satoru's face almost daily, right, Shoko."
"Yeah, there is nothing that can beat that."
"Why you two gotta hurt me like that?"

"Yeah, a pleasure to meet you, so does the face of Satoru Gojo can beat me?"
""Yeah.""
"Hey, you two!!"
"....anyway, do you now understand why I had to use a puppet?"
"Uh, so does your heavenly pact give you huge amounts of curse energy in exchange for your body parts?"
"To be more exact, In exchange for my lower body, right arm, natural light hurst my skin and the pores of my body feel like they are being stabbed, but in exchange I got a vast amount of curse energy."
"Yeah, I can see that, so you want to get rid of your heavenly pact."
"You catch on quick."
"It was pretty obvious after how you spoke of your heavenly pact."
"Can you blame?"
"No, so how do you plan on doing it, and how would it help me?"
"I have a plan, and if it works, it could be possible to help Maki Zenin."
"What is your plan?"
"Is rather simple, it all depends on your curse energy, just to confirm, your curse energy is bit special, right."
"You could say that."
"From all the information I have gathered, your body was created the moment you try to enter a puppet, and something about a heavenly pact trying to imbue itself in your body, but you were able to reject it with your curse energy, right?"
"Yeah."
"So my plan is simple, try to channel your curse energy through my body."
"That is it."
"Hmm, I told you it was rather simple."
"But there is a problem with that plan. At that time I was able to reject the heavenly pact because it had not completely assimilated to my body, so my hollow's energy mixed with the curse energy and reject it. You and Maki are different. The heavenly pact has already imbued into your body."
