"Hello youngling, I am Madam Web."
…
Xavier unfroze, his confusion temporarily overpowering his fear. "Aren't you supposed to be human?" She froze at this, then began to laugh again.
"To some. Would you prefer that form?" She asked, amusement now obvious in her tone. "Yes, that would be preferred over a massive spider."
"Very well." She said, chuckling again. Slowly, the massive spider in front of him began to shrink into a very much human shaped woman. Madam Web's human form was about five feet tall with beady black eyes, dark brown hair, and pale skin. She wore something that resembled a roman toga, just that it was almost completely black. The only other color being radiant webs subtly moving and shifting through the folds of her clothing, mirroring the web-like portals around them.
"How am I here?" He asked her.
"Straight to business are you?" Xavier nodded. "I do not know why you are here. Nor do I know the reason for those sent before you. My job is to give you my blessing only- and only if I approve of you." She said with indifference.
"And?" There was a long pause before she answered. Madam Web stalked up to him in a way that was eerily like an animal stalking their prey, before she tapped his forehead. "I approve." Somehow, that tap had enough force to send him flying backwards, into one of the portals "Prove me right." Was the last I heard before the dark consumed me again.

It was bright now, almost blinding for Xavier's eyes. What was weird was that he could remember who he was, but there were big gaps in his memory. Like someone had reached in and plucked out specific memories. Strangely he knew they were all about Marvel, but he couldn't remember anything from them to see why they had to be taken from him.
It was at this point that Xavier realized that he didn't have very good motor control. Like the nerves meant for controlling his limbs weren't formed yet. He also noticed that he was incredibly small. As well as the fact that he was in the arms of a beautiful woman, one that he strangely recognised. The woman resembled Peter Parker's mother from The Amazing Spider-man. Though she looked about twenty years younger than she looked in the movie. 'Well that memory came out of nowhere.' He thought.
"Hello" She whispered to me, she sounded very weak. Her dark brown eyes staring down at him with the love only a mother could have, before someone gently grabbed him from his new mother's arms. "Ma'am, you're not done just yet. I'm going to need you to keep pushing for me." A voice told her. And indeed, she still had another child to push out before she could rest. And Mary Parker never rests until she's done what she set out to do.
Xavier was taken into another room, where he was cleaned and put through several tests. Soon enough another baby joined him in the testing. 'Must be my new sibling.' He thought, his eyes starting to droop. Apparently, his new baby body didn't have much energy to sustain him for long. Soon he was brought back into the hospital room where his mother was waiting, along with another person.
"Mary, you need rest. Please." Said the man. I turned my eyes from Mary to the man that was pacing small circles near the edge of the bed, while giving Mary worried glances every other step.
"Oh stop that pacing Richard, you're only stressing me more." She snapped back.
He stopped in his tracks and rushed to lean over her, still very much worried. "Fine, I'll stop pacing, as long as you get some rest. It's that or I sedate you." He said, suddenly very serious.
Mary was silent for a few moments before responding, "All right, if it makes you get off my case then I will…. Just after I've named them." She said with a playful mirth. Richard didn't say anything, just sighed. First Mary turned to me and thought for a moment, "Xavier, Xavier Parker." She decided. 'What a coincidence." She then turned back to the other baby and stewed for a moment, "Peter Parker, after your grandfather."
Soon after we were taken from Mary again to give her some sleep. We, being newborns, were stationed in the maternity ward- The one room with all of the clear baskets of babies in rows. On the way over I got some weird looks for not crying like my brother over there, but what did they want? For me to cry like a baby? I was twenty eight years old today and…. He had passed out from the fatigue.

Xavier spent the next 8 years growing up with his new family, and it wasn't all bad. Sure he had to spend a few years having his underpants changed for him, but that passed by faster than he thought it would. Then came the potty training where he was finally let free from the scourge called diapers. All that time, he had lived in a room with his twin brother Peter. While he wasn't all that bright, being a very young kid, he seemed to learn incredibly fast. And Xavier found he was just as gifted. It seemed genius ran in the Parker's blood.
When he first got a true look in the mirror, found that he had a more angular face now. Black hair and dark brown eyes, slightly taller than his brother- having a new brother was a bit hard to accept but he got over it within a few years. Xavier also noticed that he had inherited the Parker genius.
When they first enrolled in school, they passed all their classes with flying colors. Every time they were given textbooks, each of them spent a few nights studying it together because they were bored at home. It got to the point where they were taking some high school classes towards the end of middle school. Both Richard and Mary were very proud of them excelling in their classes that they paid no heed to the fact that they had practically no friends.
Over the years, Xavier found it stupid to try and make friends with a bunch of kids that were twenty years younger than him, at least mentally. Mostly because when he tried to talk to them they were just so infuriatingly slow at understanding things that he eventually gave up. On the other hand, Peter had tried to make friends initially, but soon found that they were just using him for better grades. That and he soon ran into the same problem as his brother, in that he was smarter than his 'friends' by several levels. With both of them sharing similar problems, Xavier had actually begun to open up to Peter being his real brother and forming an actual connection to him.
All of this led up to the eventual event of Richard defecting away from his job at Oscorp, leading to them being hunted away. It had been weeks of pressure building up on Richard's shoulders, his bosses wanting progress towards his project. He had been tasked with creating bioengineered spiders with healing properties. All with the hope of… Strange. Xavier couldn't remember why they wanted it so bad, only that it had to do with one of the higher ups.
Anyway the pressure rose until Richard was forced to look into what they actually wanted to do with his experiments. Apparently what he saw was enough to make him copy all the information he had made, destroy most of the spiders he had made, and leave the country to go into hiding. Not without dropping Xavier and Peter off at their Aunt May's house one night despite her protest.
While Richard went off to persuade Aunt May into taking care of the kids, Mary stayed behind to speak to them. "Now listen right here you two. I want you to behave for your Aunt okay? Xavier I know you're the most sensible of you two, so keep Peter in line would you?" She paused and stared me down until I nodded. "Good. I want the both of you to stay out of trouble and to stay safe okay? Don't do anything I wouldn't do…" This continued on until she started to cry and tell Aunt May how we liked things. That is Until Richard dragged her out to catch their plane. Xavier and Peter watched as their cab slowly traveled away through the silent rain.
