"We are merchant travelers passing by and we're looking for a place to rest."

"Last night, we stayed in the previous Ning An Village, but we encountered the Bull-head and Horse-face creatures. We were lucky to survive."

"We planned to leave Ning An Village tonight, but unexpectedly found ourselves in another Ning An Village."

"We saw signs of life in the village earlier, so our master sent us two in to check it out."

One servant seemingly unaware of any danger, recounted everything that happened after they escaped the fog.

Had he remembered more, he would have relayed even more detailed information.

"I see."

The villager woman nodded, then suddenly opened her eyes.

Turns out, her eyes were completely hollow. There were no eyeballs, let alone anything else.

But, the two servants only seemed slightly surprised. They showed no intention of running away or raising an alarm.

"Indeed, is there a place in the village for us to stay?"

One of the servants gave a slight bow.
