Thankfully, both of them managed to latch onto the aircraft's ladder, preventing a free-fall to the ground.

Instinctively, Qian Cangyi slammed the cabin door halfway shut, lodging it against the round ladder rod and halting Qian Jiangyue's continued descent.

"Stop! Stop! Someone has fallen! Don't move!" he yelled desperately.

However, his words didn't have much effect. The SWAT officer still onboard echoed his proclamation, "Someone's fallen off!"

The helicopter began to slow down, and thanks to its initial modest speed, it soon came to a hover mid-air.
