In the following days, Amanda Smith's life was very peaceful.

Ever since Tasha Moore had come to confront her last time, she hadn't appeared at the Johnson family's place again, and Amanda sometimes felt that Samuel Johnson may have grown tired of her and had already broken up with Tasha.

This evening, as she left the magazine company after work, she saw a black BMW parked at the company's entrance.

The car windows were closed, and she couldn't see the person inside, but she felt a gaze fixed on her tightly ever since she stepped out of the company.

Amanda thought to herself that she didn't really have any friends who would wait for her by the roadside, and perhaps she was just being too sensitive, but still, as she passed by the car, she couldn't help but lean away to put some distance between herself and the vehicle.
