She vividly remembered how her face crumpled when Peter visited her holding a bouquet. Despite her constant facade of disapproval, she always showed him she didn't like what he was doing. She mercilessly threw the flowers in the trash bin in front of Peter.
She couldn't forget how Peter's shoulders slumped and his face painted with a bitter smile at her each time she threw flowers. Yet, Peter remained constant with her until the last time they saw each other again.
