Bab 26: Reunion
"You should have seen his face when he was denied entrance, if you were there you would have died while laughing…. Yes, come on in." Edward was speaking with David about some recent incident, while Renji was looking around Edward's office which was filled with many books. They were enjoying the moment when suddenly they heard a knock on the door, after Edward was permitted to enter, a female entered the room.
"Sir, we have found the people you were looking for. From the data that has been stored here, it seems they were brought here by some Instructors who were stationed at the Iron Fang fortress. They found the family after they helped kill all the invading beasts, from what they informed, the child was being forcefully taken away by a guild. They helped the family get back the child and found out that the child possessed 4 different natures of mana in her body, which was the reason why people tried to kidnap her.
This mentions that the would-be kidnappers were neutralized. The instructors explained to the family about the implication of having such a rare talent, after convincing them the family agreed to move to the academy but only on one condition which was to find their son named Renji Ishida. The child has gone missing after the attack on the Iron Fang fortress, the family seemed to be in a very distorted condition as they found out many children were killed in the attack. They even refused to take the antidote for the poison that is affecting their body, they are demanding to be sent back to their home to find their lost child.
We have currently posted a mission of D rank on the mission board, and many teams of students have accepted the quest, I am hoping that we will be able to hear the news about the boy pretty soon." Said the woman while she looked at the data that was stored on the tablet she was holding.
"There is no need to search for the boy anymore, you can give the reward to the students that accepted the quest. Where is the family currently staying? 4 different natures of mana in one body huh?" said Edward as he had a shocked expression on his face.
"They are currently at house no. 24 on the purple block." Said the woman.
"You may leave now." Said Edward as he looked at David who looked shocked as well.
"4 natures of mana huh? I would have never imagined, that wimpy little kid would have such a gem of a sister. It seems your academy would be able to nurture one more monstrously talented child if you manage to convince them to stay that is. Hahahaha." Said David as he laughed, he too was shocked by the turn of events, on the one hand, Renji didn't have even a little mana in his body, and on the other hand, his sister had 4 different kinds of them.
"Well, wherever she studies, one thing is for sure, she will become one of the pillars of humanity, that's for sure. Hahahahaha." Said Edward as he laughed as well.
"OI BRAT LETS GO" shouted David as it was time for them to go, Renji was still looking around the laboratory as the place was filled with so many things that he had never seen before.

"HANA...." Shouted Renji as he ran towards his sister who was playing with flowers in the yard of a very beautiful house. Rather than calling it a house, calling it a small castle would be more fitting. The house even had a huge front yard filled with a variety of flowers.
"Big Bwather..." said the little child as she was being picked by Renji. Renji hugged the child for a little bit as his eyes watered.
'Thank god you are fine...….' Thought Renji as he embraced his sister.
"Mama and dada won't eat food, only Hana is forced to eat. They always cry too….." said the little girl with a very sad face.
"It's alright now everything will be better." Said Renji as he patted her head, trying to console her.
"Let's go meet mom and dad." Said Renji as he took his sister inside the house. Edward and David followed behind him, they both had very warm smiles on their faces after seeing the brother and sister reunite.
"Mom, Dad I am back…." Said Renji as he entered the house, as soon as he said that, he heard something falling. Renji was confused as to what happened but suddenly his mother came running towards him.
"MY BABY…." Cried his mom as she grabbed her son, she started crying very loudly as she hugged Renji. Although she seemed as if she was completely fine, Renji could feel that his mom wouldn't have been able to stand if he wasn't holding her up. Even after being in such a condition, she still came running to see him, Renji couldn't hold his tears back anymore as some fell down his cheeks.
"You are finally back Renji." Said a very hoarse voice, it was his father. He was walking very slowly with the help of a stick; he was barely able to move. Both their faces looked as if they hadn't eaten or slept in years, their condition seemed to have worsened after just a few days.

After a few minutes of crying and talking, everyone was currently sitting on the sofas in the living room. Renji brought his parents there to help them rest and asked David and Edward to take a seat as well. While they were seated there Renji went to the kitchen to make some tea for them.
"I am sorry I forgot to introduce myself, I am Edward Lee and this is David Garcia. He arrived here today with Renji to find his family. I am happy to see you being reunited after so many days, and please forgive me for not being able to do it sooner." Said Edward as he bowed towards the couple.
"No, please don't say that there is no need to apologize, we are just glad that our son is okay. We should be the ones to ask for forgiveness as we couldn't welcome you properly." Said Ichiro Ishida Renji's father while coughing.
"No, please you don't have to worry about that." Said Edward.
"Please have some tea." Said Renji as he brought a tray full of cups of tea."
"Bwather look hehehehehe..." cried Hana as she was hanging onto his beard of Edward like a monkey.
"Hana you shouldn't do that, get down now and apologize to the dean right now." Said Renji as he scolded Hana. Hana apologized as soon as she heard what Renji said.
"HAAHAHAHAHA…." Both Edward and David started laughing after looking at the pitiful face of Hana as she was holding her tears back while apologizing, seeing them laugh so loudly every started smiling. The mood of the room suddenly became much lighter.
Renji explained to his parents who they were, when his parents heard that Edward was the dean of the academy they were stunned. He continued and explained what happened to him on that day of the attack and how he barely survived, his parents listened to him emotionally while both Edward and David were shocked, they seemed to have realized something.
