'This is only the beginning.'

"So, you managed to find a guy that is willing to pay us 3 million won each just for filling up the numbers headcount needed to enter a gate and keeping quiet about the whole?" Kim said skeptically, repeating the information he had received from Song-yi earlier.
The two had just finished a training session together with Song-yi trying and failing to land even a single blow on him. It was afternoon by the time they stopped and the topic of getting the girl a weapon came up once again. Which lead to the girl telling him about an interesting opportunity three days from now.
"Yeah," she shrugged simply, like it was no big deal, wincing in pain at the soreness within her muscles.
"Have you even met this guy?" He asked. The teenager just looked to the side, "No... I haven't. We've only ever talked on the phone, but I didn't get the feeling he was bad or anything," she said defensively.
"Okay, I'll trust your judgment. However, did you get his name?" Kim inquired and she nodded, "Yeah, I think it was Yoo Jin-ho or something. He said the raids begin three days from now."
Kim widened his eyes from a moment in surprise at the name and then smirked, leaning back against the tree he was resting on.
'Well, what do you know? Little Jin-ho decided to rebel and start his own guild, finally,' he flicked on his sunglasses, closing his eyes thinking about the Yoo-Jin Architectures heir that he'd known since he was a kid. He'd started his own journey as a hunter before Jinho, but it seemed that the heir was having more luck with it than him.

They then decided to part ways for the rest of the day. He opened up his phone looking for any opportunity to raid a dungeon that would arise.
"I can't just sit still knowing what's coming in the future. Come on, there's gotta be something," he murmured to himself, scrolling up and down his phone.
Suddenly an explosion rang out not too far from him, about three city blocks away. With his attention diverted he decided to investigate what the random explosion was all about. With each building he leaped over he was, more easily, able to pick up on the loud screams of terror that originated from the explosion.
Landing on the ground he witnessed a scene of five Ogres running around the street and terrorizing the citizens of Seoul. The Ogres were 2m tall, grotesque creatures with grey chapped skin and rotten teeth.
In the time it took him to get there many cars were either flipped over or completely wrecked, and a few people were nothing but bloody paste on the street below with fires starting to build up from the monsters wrecking the place.
'A dungeon break?' He was able to perceive the gate the monsters spilled from just around the corner with his Six Eyes, so that must have meant that the orges recently broke through into their world.
"Hey! Wait, wait, wait!" a man screamed out in fear as an Ogre with a huge club motioned to pulverize the man into none existence. The man closed his eyes shut as he waited for the end, but as the seconds ticked by and nothing happened he slowly peeked them open to see a white haired youth standing over him holding back the monster's club with nothing but his sheer aura it seemed.
'A hunter! We're saved!' he rejoiced, scurrying off to safe at the the hunter's orders to retreat.
"Alright, big boy. Don't know how you got out of your cage, but I can't let you run around doing your own thing," Kim turned to face the Ogre trying to beat him down repeatedly with its club, but failing every instance due to his infinity.
"You just don't like it when I talk do you?" he tilted his head to the side in bemused at the Ogre's relentless, but fruitless attacks.

The Ogre was the pulled backwards into another grotesque Ogres leaving both monsters stunned. He then increased the output of blue to further mash their bodies together until they were nothing but a gross and squished mess on the pavement.
'After gaining Gojo Satoru's memories I've become way more efficient at using nearly all these techniques. The memories have definitely skyrocketed my potential and learning speed.'
He shifted his sights to the three remaining Ogres converging on him swiftly. He easily sidestepped an attempt from the one on the left, causing it to stumble past him. He then roundhouse kicked the middle one in the torso and followed through with his momentum to tag the last Ogre on the right. Sending both Ogres flying into the building wall next to them.
Debris and rubble caked their mangled up bodies and even though they were B-rank monsters he was still handedly beating them down.
A wild swing from the first Ogre was effortlessly put to a stop by his barrier and he turned to swiftly grab the giant arm and casually flip the monster over his shoulders. As it was laid out on its back, he easily stomped its head out in a spray of blood.
The two Ogres burst from the rubble in a rush attack towards him but he wasn't bothered. He simply raised one hand in the air to create an impossibility in space-time, causing the two monsters to fly up comically.
Summoning forth one of the Blades of Disruption, he jumped into the air and cleanly cleaved through both monster hides in one smooth motion.
Landing on the ground, he surveyed the destruction all around the street. If he hadn't gotten here any sooner then these monsters would have caused more trouble than they did. And knowing the Association they probably would have hastily rushed a mishmash of under leveled hunters to get the job done.
'And if they weren't able to then they'd call up for back up way too late...' he thought bitterly. Making his way over to the gate the monsters broke forth from he was able to accurately discern the amount of magical energy flowing from it.
'It hasn't closed yet. Does that mean the boss wasn't among them? I guess I'll check it out then,' he decided, walking towards the bright blue portal leading into the dimension of monsters.
Usually when a dungeon break occurs the gate closes off, because the boss of the dungeon has left the dimension. Why this happens, nobody knows but one thing is for certain. The death and destruction follows everytime this happens.
"Mr. Kim! Why are you walking into a dungeon by yourself!?" Kim stopped himself at the sound of the voice, 'What is she doing here?' Kim turned around to see his younger training partner behind him with a look of alarm on her face.
"What are you doing here?" he asked seriously, a no nonsense tone in his voice. He theorized that she might have still been in the area same way he was.
The teen just crossed her arms,"I could ask you the same thing. Weren't just about to enter a dungeon without an help?"
"I just wanted to investigate, plus I don't really need it..." he said, but she wasn't having any of that. "Weren't you the one who told me never to enter the gates without your comrades?"
He nodded, "I do recall saying something along those lines, but this is different..." he said. She just looked unconvinced, "How so?"
He was about to answer when his ears picked up on the distance sound of police sirens. 'Dammit! If the police get here then this area will be closed off. I wanted to use this as an opportunity to level up, but with her here...' he cursed his luck at the fact his student had appeared so suddenly.
"This area is Reaper Guild territory and the level of this gate is C-rank. I know a friend who is of the Reaper Guild and since this their territory I imagine he raided this one behind me," he jabbed a thumb at the gate behind him.
"What's your friend got to do with all this?" she asked skeptically and Kim just sighed, "This dungeon broke and monsters escaped as you can see. I need to know if my friend was actually in there or not, before anyone else," he said simply, partly convincing himself of this lie he had fabricated from thin air.
Walking into the gate without giving Song-yi a chance to retort.
"Wait!" she cried out surprised and instinctively chased after him into the dungeon.
