Bab 84: Bionic Enhancement

The duel between Zorvax and Beta continued amidst the chaos of the raging battle. Zorvax, although seasoned in combat, couldn't help but feel a hint of surprise at Beta's increased strength and agility.

As their blades clashed, Zorvax narrowed his eyes, analyzing his opponent. "So, you've become a level 3," he stated, a note of curiosity in his voice mixed with a tinge of respect for Beta's newfound abilities.

Beta, his face set in a determined grin, responded amidst the clash of their swords. "Thanks to the corpses of level 3 zombies you left behind, we were able to experiment and enhance our strength beyond that of a normal level 2," he explained, the pride in his voice evident.

With each swing and parry, Beta's movements were fluid and confident. "We hunted down more level 3 zombies, collecting their cores. And now, here we are, transformed and more powerful," he added, his smile widening as he spoke.
