Bab 25: Louise

“Yes, Daddy.” I agreed, blushing a little, and stuck on his lap for the duration as more people sat down in our pew to take up my old space. I did not really know what to expect from Sunday worship, having never been before, and I had other things on my mind, but there was a lot of praying and singing before the Pastor started his sermon, which seemed to go on forever. I sat on Charles, resting my head on his chest, and quickly lost myself in my own thoughts. I was quite pleased with the progress I was making so far, even if I had my doubts that it would do any good, but I was still struggling to come to terms with what had happened to me. It really was so bizarre to think that I had been Olivia Montague for a whole week by that stage. And there I was, half-asleep on the lap of a man who thought I was his daughter, whilst Kelly/Olivia would be stuck in my place, with my mum, and my life. And then, without even realising it, I was rather more than half-asleep.
