Bab 111: Madness... Part Two

An arm thicker than Seth's abdomen smashed across his mutated guard. The force sent his body flying into a wall. The power of the blow caused him to spit blood while pulling Samantha to safety with the hazy consciousness of his mind.

He intended to use the momentum of the Stage Three Brute's blow to escape the enormous swarm of seekers constantly attacking them.

However, the Stage Three mutants' brute force easily broke two ribs with a simple swing while Seth held onto his gunblade despite the force. His body dropped onto the floor with a thud while protecting the bloody Samantha, who trembled.

Seth knew he underestimated the horde, but what could he do? The die was cast.

'I am in danger. Samantha seems overwhelmed by terror...' 

He tried to organise a plan inside his mind. Alas, the heavy footsteps smashing the ground and crushing other zombies without care didn't care for his thoughts.

"This fucking Brute!"
