Bab 462: Save Him

The guards followed closely. One wrong step and Cotlin would be captured. They all knew this place at the back of their hands but Cotlin did not. They were sure that it would take him an hour or more to only find the exit of this damned maze.

When he would lose his attention, they would attack him. Cotlin was holding the count from his right hand, trapped between his body and the sword. While he was holding the duke from his left hand, making sure that the old man did not fall. Such a way was indeed tiring and it did not give him flexibility at all. He could fall any moment.

Even the count knows this, that is why he is not that tense so far.
