Bab 455: Childish Games.

The maids bowed their heads hurriedly but the confusion was evident in their eyes. They have never seen Carmen leaving his room without being properly dressed. He was someone who believed in following decorum and has always left an impression on his staff.

But to think that he would walk in the corridors without staff, disheveled and looking nervous. They all followed him with his gaze only to see him walking briskly toward the duke's chambers.

He did not knock on the door but entered directly only to pause at the door.

Eve was in Damien's lap and they were kissing each other passionately. 

"Your.. your majesty?" hearing the sound of opening the door, Eve turned and was shocked to see Carmen standing there bare chested.

Damien frowned and looked around in confusion. "Your majesty, are you looking for something?" His voice showed a hint of conusuon the maid Carmen frowned.
