"And she had locked you in the room when you demanded to be with her husband." he offered the mocking back. Gone was the time when he was acting to be a gentleman in front of her.
She hissed and looked away. "If you are here to insult me, leave. I am not in the mood to argue." her eyes staring at the closed window. It had been days since she had seen the light. That night when she had returned after achieving acceptance from Eve, a royal guard had entered with a new maid and they locked her here. Soon Philip followed and announced that they were to marry.
