"Do I even need to remind you of our age difference?" she pulled her hands away with her whole body shaking. Carmen's eyes are dark and gloomy. 

"I killed my father, Lotte, a long time ago, Lotte. If you would have trusted me. I would have made it possible. But you never wanted it in the first place. For you I was a gullible prince not a man you can love. With time, you have only come to depend on me because of my power. But not anymore, I am not a pawn that could be used so simply. Get out!" Lotte closed her eyes. She needed time to wrap her mind around his words.

Her body was still shaking with past tremors. But Alas! Carmen was not in the mood to give time to her.

"I said get out! If you do not leave, I will call the guards to handle you." she finally opened her eyes and looked at his gloomy face. In that instant, she knew she had lost something she would always regret.
