Bab 405: Chosen One

"The saintess had only prayed in this room for a long time. The room had never been changed." explained the other priest in a kinder voice gaining her attention.

"And I am sure that a saint can not be so weak that she would get sick because she did not have a window." he added in a stern voice to make sure that she understood.

But Eve has already come out of the room. She folded her hands and looked away.

"I will not return to that room. If you bind me, I refuse to be the saint." she announced in a voice chilly enough to freeze them at their places. 

They looked at her horrified. 

"But you have already accepted the position?" she only snickered at their naive behavior.

"But I never agreed to get sick. Did i?'' They looked at each other worried and then at Eve who was looking at them with a challenging gaze. It took all their courage and patience to take a deep breath and nod.
