Bab 353: Love Or Revenge?

"Why did you do that?" Before Diana could ask more, the door opened and a few ladies entered chatting about how long the meeting is taking! 

But when they noticed a man in the room, they paused and gasped.

"Oh my! I did not know that there was a private meeting going on!" a woman laughed when she noticed the flushed face of Diana and Cotlin leaning on him.,

Even a blind knew what transpired there without being told. Giggles filled the room and Cotlin stood straighter.

"My lord, I am sure you must have been assigned quarters here. Why not take the lady there?" a woman in a pink dress asked with a chuckle. But anyone could notice that his advice was not out of goodwill. 

Diana's eyes narrowed. But Cotlin gave a smile that could win hearts and it had always been so easy for him. The ladies know that he was with Diana but when he looked at them with interest, they could not help but adjust their hair or dresses.
