Bab 318: An Offer

"Oh your grace." Archie bowed his head at once when he found Eve sitting alone in the garden and having her breakfast. His eyes sparkled with joy. "I have thought that I am going to wander aimlessly till the end. But who would have thought that i will be so lucky." he showed her a toothy grin as he touched the chair taken by Damien a minute ago. 

He noticed the half eaten food there and his eyes flickered.

"May i?" she nodded but pointed at the empty chair and he smiled softly.

Once sat, he signaled the maid to bring a pair of fresh dishes for him. But his eyes still lingered on Damien's dishes. It looked like he left in an urgency.

"Your grace must be busy now that he is in the royal palace. His majesty is fond of the lord too much." she smiled. The man did not look like he could be fond of anyone except him.
