Bab 287: Feeding Her Medicines

Hazel waited for the knight to return with permission and smiled when he did.

"Your grace, good evening. I apologize for being late today." she held the bowl of the fruit tightly in her hands as she entered the room. Eve was sitting near the window. Her face looked pale and her eyes were swollen. It must be the effect of last night's argument. But she had to hurry, she could not miss Damien for breakfast. 

"Your grace, I heard that you are not feeling well again when I visited the kitchen to make sure the lord had a good breakfast." she walked toward her seat with a sigh. "I have brought some fruits for you. You would feel better after eating them." her eyes gleamed with joy as she placed the bowl on the table near Eve.
