Bab 281: A Small Help

Elene woke up at the sound of water. She opened her eyes to see Olga was standing there. The maids were cleaning the room and the sun had already risen higher.

"Oh, you are awake, my lady." she smiled as soon as Eve stirred in her bed. "The physician had been here. He told me that he is suffering from a fever. So the lord asked us to not disturb you. How are you feeling now?" She came closer and picked up the glass of water from the table. But the moment it was brought closer to her, she covered her mouth with her hands, her face looking pale.

Olga's face hardened and she held the glass tightly.

"Take a sip, my lady. You will feel better." her voice softened when Eve shook her head again. "Your grace could be worried for you if you would not drink water." she pressed but Eve only shook her head. Her face is paler. She pushed the duvet away and ran to the washroom.
