His eyes flickered but his face was still stoic. So she was not sure if she had believed his lies or not. He stood there silently for a long time before slowly nodding his head.

"Then you should go and rest too." she felt relieved and heavy at the same time as if she had been hurt physically. But she shook off that feeling and nodded.

Ian came forward when Eve had left the room. 

"My lord, her grace did not visit the physician. Even when he went to diagnose her with the pretense of monthly check up, she said that she was busy and would visit him later. He could not press the matter as she had so many flies around her." Ian felt it odd. Something was odd with the duchess recently. 

"But… I remember her visiting a local physician in the town three days ago when she was going to meet Count Grimoire." he added suddenly.
