"How dare you?" He raised the cane again but this time I held it harder. Joseph struggled to get free but he was no match to Ian's strength. 

"Let it go." Ian let go of the can the moment Eve spoke but Joseph was adding too much pressure. The moment Ian let go, he fell on the ground with a cane in his hands. He blinked as if only then he realized he was showing his ugly side to the world. It had never happened before. He had always been in control of his actions and emotions.

When he noticed the gaze of everyone looking at him with wariness or rage, he felt stunned. He had only gotten respect and reverence from the world so far. How did all this happen? Where did he make a mistake? It was all because of this woman. She was the reason. He glared at Eve. but she only smirked in exchange.
