Bab 183: Lost Heart?

Cotlin pulled out the collar and the cravat with force as he kicked the door open. His exhausted eyes stared at the room with a grim look. There was no happiness of being announced as a noble. Neither the man looked relieved that the auction ended on a good note.

His glowering face was full of rage and his eyes were full of cold blizzards. He pushed the invitation letters aside and entered his small house. The room was only a two bedroom house that often belonged to simple commoners.

He entered the open kitchen that was attached to the hall and filled a glass of water for himself from the tumbler. Despite drinking it in one gulp, he did not feel better. The burning sensation in his chest only rose with the cold water.

He closed his eyes to take a breath but the flashes of that passionate kiss and his hands under her skirt opened them with force. He gasped for air as if he was underwater. His manhood twitched with desire and he cursed.
