Bab 138: Meeting Family Or Foe

The first rule of being ignorant was to not understand a thing and Eve had no problem in following it. She already did not understand when it came to the hypocrisy of the nobles, though she was one of them.

Eve had grown up as an honest person. She had often been scolded by Charlotte for being insensitive. But she did not understand why she could not inform Elene about what she had done wrong.

But with time, she had learnt nobles did not like being told they were wrong. And they like expensive gifts, the richer they are, they love expensive gifts. This she knew since birth.

She had gifted all the expensive things to the barons and viscounts and earls when they visited their territory. But now she was going to behave like an ignorant woman… she was going to make both mistakes.
