Bab 134: A Letter

Ian muffled a laugh. Damien was resting with his eyes closed while Evangeline.. Was working on his files. She scratched her chin without relaxing that she had ink over there.

He had never thought his master would find a duchess like her. The one who spends her time working on his files rather than enjoying her luxuries and throwing parties.

Damien sensed that Ian was staring at his wife. His eyes snapped open and he stared at Ian with narrowed eyes. Ian gulped. His master could be scary when he wanted.

"Your grace.." he cleared his throat and whispered to Evangeline, "i heard that you are attending the tea party in the Downshire manor? Should i arrange gifts for the occasion." Eve let go of the parchment she was working on. She contemplated the offer for a second before shaking her head.
