Bab 86: Unconditional Love

The knight went red instantly. His only consolation was… the lady did not know that he could hear her. But that did not mean the lord did not now. The way the stunned duke smirked and looked at him brought him another level of embarrassment.

"Evangeline, as much as I am happy that you do know you are my wife and value it. That does not mean you are bound to me. You can dance with anyone, meet anyone and spend time with anyone out of your free will as long as you do not cross the boundary." the women blinked, surprised. 

Sometimes she shocks him with her thinking. She was so smart when it came to calculations, accounts, etiquettes but when it comes to dealing with humans, she looks so naive. Her gaze looked so pure. Like a child locked in the library, she had seen the world only through the eyes of her family and believed their words. His eyes went grim at the thought of her family.
