'Ding' 'Ding' 'Ding'

Yang Meiyi who was lying on the bed stretch out her hand to the alarm clock without opening her eyes. She successfully turned off the alarm and went back to sleep, only to hear her phone ringing within the next minute.

She absentmindedly answered the call and said "Hello."

"I knew you would still be sleeping by this time. It's 8 am already, aren't you supposed to get ready for your interview at Gem World." Zhang Chun said at the other end of the phone.

Yang Meiyi's desire to sleep some more immediately disappeared, and it wasn't because she was late for that interview but it was because she had something to tell him.

She immediately sat upright and said, "There is no interview."

"What do you mean by there is no interview?"

"Well, there is one but just not at Gem World." Yang Meiyi said.
