Bab 53: The Reading Of Grandpa Sang Will.

Yang Meiyi went to the station and saw the police questioning the man who had run her mother over. After the questioning, Yang Meiyi begged the police to allow her to speak to him, the policeman looked at Yang Meiyi pitifully, he had heard that the young girl had lost her grandfather as well, perhaps she needed closure, with that in mind the policeman agreed to Yang Meiyi request.

Sitting in an interrogation room, Yang Meiyi looked at the middle-aged man who was responsible for her mom's accident and asked with no emotion in her voice "Why did you do it?"

The middle-aged man cried and said, "It was an accident, I had a little too much to drink and I didn't see her coming."

"Then why did you run away? why didn't take her to the hospital? If you had done that then perhaps she would have survived, perhaps she would still be here with me and Grandpa would still be here with me."

"I was scared, I wasn't thinking properly."
