Bab 30: Changes in Cities!! Prisoners' free labour

Why was Sushima busy in Patliputra?

In other places, many people are busy copying the concept of hotels, shopping malls, and restaurants from Patliputra, especially the merchants. However, they don't have the resources like cement and glass to make it as beautiful as Patliputra.

Because of this, many people started to have multiple ideas.

The first group started thinking about how to collaborate with Yuvraj to obtain the cement and glass for construction.

The second group started thinking about how they could steal these materials and sell them on the black market to make a lot of money.

They are planning to send their people to rob those formulas.

As for the spy exposing them, it is not possible because the assassins are illiterate and unable to speak.

How can a mute and illiterate person know who their boss is?

The third group had a weirder plan. They were waiting for the second group to steal the materials and then planned to step in and take everything from them.

There was also a fourth group that was analyzing all three groups and trying to find the best course of action.

The first group consisted of low-level merchants, while the second and third groups were middle-level merchants. The fourth group was made up of high-level and very rich merchants.

Now, they all started to have various thoughts on the inventions and other things produced in Patliputra. They planned to buy a large amount of these items and sell them in various other cities. However, the profit margin was their main focus.

They wanted to earn even more, so they had a plan to buy the research from Yuvraj or do some kind of exchange where Yuvraj would give them the research.

Because of the changes happening in Patliputra, the entire Bharat merchant community was starting to think about ways to earn money in this transformation of Bharat.

During this time, Sushima also gave a few commands to his servants before the construction started. If they found any merchant who wanted to collaborate, they were to sell cement and glass, but not in exchange for money. Instead, they were to exchange shares.

They had to acquire at least 40 to 60% of the shares of the invested company so that they had a significant say in all the decisions.

During this time, many merchants started to understand the concept of shares, and a few agreed to give 60% of their shares to Sushima's company.

However, there were also some people who did not agree with shares, so they were still negotiating other ways to collaborate.

After five days of negotiations with many merchants, in the end, all the cities now had their own hotels, restaurants, and shopping malls.

Every single person who was giving less then 60% of the shares they do not make any deals.

Sushima had initially thought that he would just buy shares, but then he started to create a company based on shopping malls, hotels, and restaurants. He gave each city a different name and then sold 40% of the shares for funds.

This way, even small merchants could buy shares and invest in his company. He didn't want to sell his shares to just a few merchants, but to all the people of that particular city. So, he planned to sell the stocks and let anyone who wanted to buy them do so directly from him on a first-come, first-serve basis.

He also play some tricks into it so many of the merchant did not get a single percent of the shares. And large position of the share went to common people.

He also had 500 thousand gold coins in his hand, and he was very sure that in 2 to 3 years, he would be sitting on a pile of gold coins.

He would often imagine himself sitting on a golden mountain, the height of which reached Mount Everest. He was very excited and happy about his progress.

But suddenly, he received news from one of his subordinates that a few people were captured because they were trying to steal the cement and glass formulas.

This made him angry, and he took all his guards and went to see those people who were caught trying to steal things from Yuvraj.

When he arrived, he saw a couple of people tied up with ropes. They were various people.

He asked his subordinates about everything that had happened and found out that those people were illiterate and unable to speak.

This was a headache for his subordinates, so he had a plan in mind.

He decided to add those spy as his slaves and then he started reading the memory and going through all the details inside their mind.

Then, he found out that there were almost 30 people involved in this, and many others were planning to do the same in the future.

After seeing all the things they did in private and all their evil thoughts, he was truly disgusted.

He ordered his servants to bring all those 30 members to the imperial court and let his father handle them.

He also gathered all the evidence needed to eliminate their entire lineage. He would not let a single one of them go.

All of them would have a miserable ending.

He then let his subordinates handle those guys. They were no longer considered his subordinates but brainwashed slaves who were illiterate and mute.

Except for the person who had become he slave. Everyone else, all the others would be thrown to work on his farm for the rest of their lives.

With in half a day, everyone knew about Yuvraj's methods of dealing with his enemies. Not a single person was left alive; everyone was hanged. All their properties were seized, and their families were humiliated. All the evil deeds they had done in the past were exposed.

Many members of their families were about to be killed, but Susima suggested to his father that they let them work on their farm. In exchange, they would receive food.

They would work for their entire lives and be allowed to come for money and food.

His father also like this punishment that Susima had suggested. So he pass the order that from tomorrow onwards thay will start working in the farms of the royal family and they will get the food according to the work.

And this was the start of the prisoners' free labour world.

(Note: this is my personal opinion which I said above so if some people do not agree with it I can totally understand it)
