Bab 78: A Bodyguard’s Tale

Dane coughed out blood as he attempted to speak, or maybe shout, seeing the black van's door closed and sped away into the darkness of the evening. After that, he lost consciousness.

Suddenly, a young man, maybe around the same age as Dane, arrived and rushed to Dane's unconscious form slumping on the ground. The blood had already stained the cemented ground in a gruesome way.

The unknown man carefully turned over Dane's body, to see his face.

"Oh no! What happened?"

He asked out loud, with a horrified expression.

Soon, a limousine stopped exactly beside them.

Aaron came out hurriedly, and crouched at Dane's body, not paying any attention to the young man, who was there first. He checked for a pulse and nodded to himself. Then, he lifted Dane effortlessly, still ignoring the other man.

"Where are you taking him?"

The young man finally asked, realizing Aaron was not recognizing his presence on the scene.
