Bab 42: Flight Plan

The past two months had been really hectic for April. She had never imagined being immersed in the Johnson Enterprises' business this way. It was really exhausting but at the same time gratifying for April. She had thought that she would dread going to work every single day, but she was wrong.

Vincent had been true to his promise that she would be treated professionally and even Leah was not able to go near her at any instance. Maybe Paul had said something about it to Vincent after all.

Instead of getting upset, April was thankful because she really wanted this job... not just wanted, but loved it now. It was way better than the four corners of her cubicle job at the news center and definitely less hazardous than selling her curious sex toys at night. Besides, she was earning on a regular basis which made her stepfamily happy as well. This gave her less stress on a daily basis, considering her stepfamily who was always in for the money.
