Song Jian saw a ferocious skull emerge from the back of Granite's neck. The palm-sized skull, still smeared with blood, exuded a black mist from its eye sockets, creating an eerie appearance.

"No!"

Granite let out a scream filled with despair. The tentacles that spilled from his mouth were immensely powerful, far beyond his control. After breaking free from the restraint of his hands, the tentacles enveloped his entire head, making it look as though a monster was savoring its meal.

"Heh heh heh~" The skull that burrowed out from the back of Granite's head let out a sinister laugh, glanced around, and seemed quite pleased as it muttered to itself, "Indeed, a new world… truly, too barren!"

Granite's entire head was wrapped up by the tentacles, but he didn't give up and struggled desperately. He even drew his Scythe of Death, swinging it at the tentacles above his head.
