Bab 232: Section 232 - Mysterious Danger

The air-raid shelter was damp and stuffy, and despite the dim yellow lighting, it remained eerily gloomy.

This place could make an excellent setting for a horror movie.

As Shen Yue walked further into the shelter and saw the slope in front of him gradually leveled out, he suspected he was nearing the part designed for human occupancy and consequently lightened his steps.

With a gun in his hands, he made himself one with this somewhat terrifying place, constantly on guard for any movement ahead.

He suddenly halted his steps at the sound of something unexpected, his face revealing disbelief.

If his judgment wasn't wrong, there seemed to be snoring up ahead. Was there someone asleep in there?

Was Jin Xin sleeping? Or was it the person guarding Jin Xin?

It did not seem plausible either way.

Uncertain about what was going on, Shen Yue found his grip on his gun tightening, his focus heightened to an extreme degree. As he rounded a corner, a surprisingly open space came into view.
