Bab 228: Section 228: Interruption of Clues

In the darkness, several figures silently crept up to the body of Ryan Carter.

The one in the lead was Fujiwara Norika.

Fujiwara Norika didn't miss the opportunity Shen Yue provided for them. During the exchange of fire between the opposing sniper and Shen Yue, she and her men had already rushed up.

Unexpectedly, the enemy was elusive and their retreat was rapid. They had already left the sniper position one step ahead of them.

Before Fujiwara Norika could get to them, the enemy had killed the Yamaguchi-gumi members who were left by the car. They had driven one of their cars and fled, leaving the remaining vehicles with their tires all blown out.

Fujiwara Norika clenched her teeth silently. She realized that the other party was also an extremely meticulous organization. This method of operation was likely meant to facilitate a retreat in case of failure.

Apart from finding two bodies on the ground, Fujiwara Norika found nothing else.
