Bab 206: Section 206 Negotiation

The building looked dazzlingly splendid as if it was taken straight out of a heavenly scene. Prominently displayed on its façade were three rows of characters, each row spelling out the words "Treasure Pavilion" in the languages of China, Thailand, and Japan.

Looking at the characters for "Treasure Pavilion," Shen Yue had a feeling that the connected building behind it could be the sutra repository.

There wasn't much foot traffic in front of the building. From time to time, an mysterious vehicle would pull over; then one woman, sometimes several, would get out, attempting to avoid detection either by donning a pair of dark glasses or covering half of their faces with scarves.

The doormen, looking as if they were welcoming a queen back to the palace, greeted these women, treating them with utmost respect and courtesy in line with their professional duties and experiences, and ushered them in enthusiastically.
