Shen Yue got out of the car in Qianhai, watched as the night sky hid the stars, and watched Du Feng drive off, then turned to Li Yawei and said, "You seem happy?"

Li Yawei had been smiling since they were in the police car, even when she was closing her eyes for a nap.

Hearing Shen Yue's question, Li Yawei held onto Shen Yue's arm and didn't let go, "Do you know what time it is?"

This line is usually a housewife's must-have line for checking on her husband, but Li Yawei seemed very happy when she said it.

"It should be nearly three in the morning," Shen Yue guessed. Not long ago, he had stopped the alarm clock on his cell phone in the police car. He had been staying awake until 2:33 a.m. for the past few nights.

But nothing unexpected happened.

"So, you should know that it's not yesterday, but today," Li Yawei reminded him.

Shen Yue laughed, "Congratulations on living another day."
