At the sound of the slightly violent knocking, all Hai Mingzhu's memories came flooding back - they were all waiting for the assassin to creep in, so Cui Xin'ai had given her and Shen Yue each a gun. Last night she had learned a great deal from Shen Yue about how to use a gun, she wasn't a greenhorn anymore. Li Yawei had been asleep the whole time, and after she'd discussed matters with Jin Xin and Shen Yue about taking turns to keep watch, she'd agreed to do her share of the job. She had said she would doze for a while and then take over, but she had slept through to this point.

Why didn't Jin Xin and Shen Yue wake her up? Li Yawei was not in the living room, had she been moved to the bedroom to sleep? Had Li Yawei woken up?
