I was just chilling in my living room on the couch eating potato chips, I had just gotten back from an other day of high school.
I hate it there, no one understands the kid who can even read! The kid who has to sound out words just to answer a simple literature question. It was humiliating.
I let out a sigh as I see the cold face of my mother Angie McLoid..
She had just came back from her corporate Job, she was a receptionist for the CEO pf her company and she got paid quite a bit for it..
Money is power is the moto my mother has always ran by, I mean in this society? She right.
"Get off your lazy ass.." she said Coldly her ice like eyes piercing my soul.
"But-" I tried to say but was interrupted, "Shush, I have had enough of your lazy ass just sleeping about and listening to that audio 'FanFiction' that you won't grow out off, Your sixteen! You are on your 5 year of highschool and only get one more year after that before you must go to college, You should be studying.." she ranted I quietly listened like I usually do, if I talk back to her she just turns off the wifi until 'I have learned a lesson..'.
"Are you even listening?" She said, she never shouted, it made her piercing words and cold act even more effective.
"Yeah ma' I'll try better." I said in a meak manner, She was probably the coldest Scottish mother to ever exist..
I got up and left for my room not before throwing my Chips away.
I shut my door and my quiet demeanour slipped away.
"Fucking bitch always on my ass for something.." I mumbled and headed over to my Pc, I sat in my spiny chair and booted up my Pc.
I sighed as I clicked on YouTube and saw a video of something called 'one piece' who isn't that the anime with pirates?
The thumbnail had a guy with a straight jaw with a pointed out white moustache he also had a large physique.
I clicked it and started watching the video..
"Holy.." I said in wonder as whitebeard punched the air, "Did the Sky just shatter when he punched it!?" I said in shock and wonder that soon turned to adoration.
I clicked out quickly.
"I should really find a platform that has One piece.." I said out loud..
I tried Every streaming platform but they didn't stream them in Scotland..
I did eventually in my twenties found a website that streamed One piece, I admire the powerful people in the show and respect them dearly.
Sometimes I wish I could be that strong…
