They were immediately exasperated.

"Weren't we supposed to lose them?" the Pyrosplash asked while being shocked.

"I never said we definitely would," the Abyssard retorted irritably.

Who knew they were so fast?

Amalia surveyed her surroundings.

By now, they had passed through vast areas of rocky reefs and coral clusters.

The water flow had noticeably sped up.

The Abyssard and Pyrosplash intentionally entered the center of the current, letting it carry them forward.

The further they went, the stronger the current's pull became.

Even without moving, they were being drawn forward.

The Abyssard and Pyrosplash quickly exited the center of the current, smirking as they watched the humans struggle in the water flow.

They thought it wouldn't be so easy for the humans to meet their King.

But before they could celebrate, the humans shot through the powerful current like arrows, arriving right in front of them.
