My feet slowed down as I approached our chambers after leaving Pa’s chambers. His words ran through my mind about Princess Rae, and I knew this was a discussion that I needed to have with Ulysses. It was close to midnight, and I knew that Ulysses must have been anxiously waiting for me, considering the time I had been away from him.
